Especially for the new prototype 20m Passenger Ship – PPS FERRY 1, which in the later will be built in the Philippines. The PPS FERRY was constructed out of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic). It carries 2 crews and 81 passengers with the cruising speed of 12kn. The 20m Passenger ship is perfect for short-distance commuting passengers from coastal routes to ports or ports to island. It fits the needs of Philippine’s ship owner for the geographic criteria of being a country with many islands nearby.

Supported by Harbin Engineering University, which is one of the largest universities in naval architecture and ocean engineering in China, PIO-SHIP focus on ship design and system integration.
For commercial ferry market, PIO-SHIP will start from this 20m ferry design and will launch more serial designs of passenger ships. “The sea trial of PPS FERRY 1 is successful. We will bring the ferry to Philippine in next 3 months and we will invite some potential buyers to visit.” Said by Julie Zhu, GM of PIO-SHIP.
